Cas Gasi, a leading boutique hotel in Ibiza

Local Area

Being located in the very centre of the island gives Cas Gasi the advantage of being just a short drive from all of the island’s attractions, from beaches, sunsets and restaurants to iconic nightclubs and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

But as much as we love the famous sights and delights of Ibiza, there is also plenty to discover in our own backyard and surrounding villages. Peaceful, beautiful countryside views as far as the eye can see, giving you a real connection with the nature of Ibiza, all year round.

Just a few minutes from Cas Gasi, you’ll find the small village of Sant Rafel, where the view from the church is nothing short of breathtaking. Nearby, fine dining restaurants sit happily alongside rustic eateries and on a drive through the rolling hills you encounter farms, orchards & more.

In the opposite direction, the quaint village of Santa Gertrudis attracts a cosmopolitan expat crowd all year round. The beautifully pedestrianised square is awash with laidback restaurants and the streets are filled with unique boutiques, artisan jewelers, galleries and cafes.

When the beach and party crowds go into hibernation for the winter, these villages – and Cas Gasi of course – continue to bustle, buzzing with the authenticity of daily Ibiza life.

Exploring Ibiza by sea

As a long term sailing expert, Cas Gasi owner Luis Trigueros – who met his wife Margaret von Korff when starting the project for the famous Whitbred Round The World Race 85/86 – knows the Balearic Sea like the back of his hand. The couple like to take their sailboat out at least once a

Special Ibiza sunsets

Ibiza and sunsets go hand in hand, and while everyone is aware of the famous San Antonio ‘sunset strip’ and its variety of chillout bars – including the legendary Café del Mar – there are also plenty of other alternative vantage points on the island to watch the sun sink into the sea each night/

Our favourite Ibiza beaches

Not a day goes by during summer at Cas Gasi, where the owners and staff are not asked for personal recommendations on the best Ibiza beaches. After all, who better to ask than a local?
